BSc Engineering Geology and Geotechnics (Hons) MSc Applied Geotechnics
Francesca has completed a Master’s in Applied Geotechnics from the Camborne School of Mines, and has over three years of geotechnical experience in the mining industry. She has amassed both underground and open pit experience in the Pilbara and Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
Technical Capabilities include:
- Design, implementation and reporting of geotechnical data collection for open pit Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility studies
- Analysis of geotechnical data for rock mass and structural setting for open pit operations
- Kinematic controls for open pit design
- Back analysis of slope performance and compliance to design
- Geotechnical operational support of hard rock open pit mines including data collection, monitoring and hazard assessment
Software skills include Leapfrog, DIPS, and Vulcan.
