MSc (Geology) PhD MAusIMM
Zahra is an Engineering Geologist with 8 years of experience in the mining industry after researching and working in the energy industry. She holds a PhD from UWA.
Her experience in mining geotechnical engineering includes slope stability analysis and design support for both open-pit and underground mines. She is experienced in validation and analysis of drilling data and laboratory test results, rock mass characterization, structural and kinematic analysis as part of geotechnical stability assessment for open-pit and underground operations. This includes empirical, limit-equilibrium and finite element numerical modelling techniques for the purpose of slope stability.
Zahra has working knowledge of geotechnical design software packages, including RocScience group, Maptek Vulcan, Leapfrog, WellCad, Gem4D and other mapping applications.
